Last week, I gave you the 'Vision to Reality framework'. But sis, you cannot execute a vision when you are this tired. So before we go any further, let us talk about your energy.
I share a memory that still sits with me: coming home at 6pm, up since 5am, the boys at the door before I had even turned the key. And the quiet reality that by the time I had done everything for everyone else, there was nothing left for me — and nothing left for my future either. The only way out of that flat, out of that ceiling, was to create time to build myself. And that meant being intentional about protecting my energy.
This episode is your permission slip. Because self-care is not selfish. Selfish is when you have already built and you deliberately stop others from doing the same. Self-care is building yourself up, knowing full well that when you get there, you will hold the ladder for others to climb too.
